Company profile
And it got to the point where we realized it was taking up a lot of development and profit time, and we couldn't take it anymore. Furthermore, we understood that we were conducting less thorough testing.

The Screenloop team started their project with 3 developers and no QA engineers.
The platform has been actively developing, and there was insufficient QA capacity to meet all QA requirements.

Before involving QA engineers, developers spent most of their time testing, affecting the platform’s deliverability.
The team decided to hire additional QA engineers to reduce the workload for development and the QA teams.

Challenges
The lack of QA resources during the initial project stage contributed to challenges that emerged as the project progressed:
Lack of QA resources
No established QA Process
Screenloop team started the test at the late stage of development as a result they got the QA debt
Lack of end-to-end automation
Developers spent their time on testing
Unoptimized spending of developers' time and its impact on the budget

Account Project Manager
Everything that I've said to Anastasiia and every piece of feedback I know she’s been acting on it, and that's very important for me. That's one of the things that I value the most. She’s super nice. She’s probably the nicest account manager I've worked with.

Solutions
To reduce QA debt and improve Screenloop quality, the UTOR team:
1
Team Expansion
Assigned 1 full-time QA to conduct manual testing.
2
Expert Guidance
Assigned QA mentor to provide consultation and additional help.
3
Established Base for QA Process
Developed a systematic testing strategy for 6 months to build a quality assurance process with the assistance of a quality control engineer.
UTOR’s team conducted:
Functional testing to verify software works as intended according to its specifications.
Regression testing to check if existing functionalities of the software are still working correctly after a code update.
Performed defect validation to ensure that all bugs were fixed.
Additionally, the UTOR team provided a QA Audit to find bottlenecks and areas for improvement and created an action plan for improving the quality process.
They raise the usability of the product. They have a business product mindset, and they think in a way that neither the designer nor even I looking at the code could find all the flaws.

Results
In an earlier version, Screenloop had an external applicant tracking system (ATS), and data was exported from it. UTOR’s major accomplishment was helping the Screenloop team develop an internal ATS. QA engineers were engaged in testing the system from the beginning and played a crucial role in creating and enhancing the new system. The new ATS significantly improved the experience for Screenloop’s clients.
Effortless Data Flow
The new ATS smoothly integrates data throughout the entire hiring process without relying on separate systems.
Better Interview Insights
With improved algorithms, the system can automatically generate more accurate and helpful notes and summaries of interviews.
Faster Reference Checks
Collecting and using references is quicker and easier, making onboarding smoother.
Better Tracking of New Hires
The system provides improved tools to monitor how well new hires are performing in their roles.
